The Return from his Mission

Entries in Frederick's Missionary Journal disappear around June 1907, and it became difficult to know when he came home. Fortunately, I discovered the ship manifest for the boat Fred took home from Liverpool to Boston. He sailed from Liverpool on August 1, 1907, aboard the S. S. Cedric (one of the largest ships in the world at this time, used for transportation with the White Star Line). Fred is listed as "Kohlhepp, Fred J.", a 45 year-old married male, who swore he was of American nationality/citizenship.

This ship manifest really helps piece together the end of his mission well. Correspondence in my possession suggested he likely took a different boat and left earlier. Pictures of the manifest and the S. S. Cedric are posted below.
